Star the "Hater"
I'm not sure what to think about this, let alone what to say...
Someone posted on rebirthofreason.com the other day regarding this morning radio guy in New York, who calls himself "Star the Hater." His radio show is the Star and Buc Wild show. I'm not sure if it's syndicated. Anyway, Star discovered Ayn Rand when he was quite young, and she had a life long impact on him. So much so, that he's developed his own take on Objectivism, something he calls "Objective Hate."
Yeah, I winced too.
Star must have been Googleing his own name or something, but he showed up on rebirth to announce he's written a book that's due out "soon."
You can read the whole thread and his thoughts here:

The interview with him on his website was a strange mix of individualism and emotion driven context stealing, so I'm still puzzled where he's coming from, or going, with this "Objective Hate" stuff. He's clearly not an idiot, however. He's pretty witty, as well (calling Rand a "sexy bitch" and "intellectually vicious," saying how even Miles Davis on coke couldn't ease the tilt Rand caused to his axis.)
I plan to give the book a skim when it becomes available, just to see if his own spin on "hate" can remotely pass the rigors of Objectivist thought. We'll see.
